We are located at shop 8, 329 Albany Highway, Rosedale and are open Tuesday-Saturday.
Most of our work and consultation is done via email, so please get in touch via email@example.com or by using our online enquiry form. We also have a large variety of cakes available to book in through our online store. You can find that here.
For custom cakes, photos are very helpful in the design process, so please feel free to send these through. Photos of cakes by other designers will be used as inspiration, however please note that we do not directly copy.
Once we have provided you with a quote and sent through an invoice, a 50% deposit will be required to secure your booking, with full payment due 10 days prior to your event. For bookings made with less than 10 days notice, full payment will be required upfront.
We do not make tentative bookings. Bookings are only confirmed once a formal quote is received and deposit paid.
Cakes and other sweet treats are booked on a first come, first serve basis.
For wedding cakes, it is recommended that you get in touch as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. In particular, peak wedding periods (March-May and Sept-Nov) tend to book out months in advance.
For all other custom cakes and sweet treats, we typically require 1-2 weeks notice, however this is subject to availability.
For pick up orders, we recommend that cakes be transported on a flat surface in your vehicle (the footwell or boot space) with the air conditioning on. Cake should be stored in the fridge, especially prior to any transport and brought to room temperature (around 1-2 hours) prior to serving.
Yes, delivery can be organised in advance and is subject to availability. Delivery pricing is based on distance from the Whipped Cakery kitchen. We recommend that delivery be organised for wedding cakes.
Due to food safety reasons, only the Whipped Cakery team are permitted to dress the cake. We are happy to work with your florist to have them supply the florals for the cake prior to the event, or supply these ourselves, based on your specific requirements.
We offer options for gluten,dairy and vegan friendly cakes/cupcakes. However, all products are made in the same kitchen where nuts, gluten and dairy are present, so cross contact may occur.
All of our cakes are filled and decorated with our signature buttercream. We may do some small detailing with fondant, however, do not offer fully covered fondant cakes.
Yes! Cake tasting packs are offered periodically throughout the year. Tasting packs feature 6 of our current menu flavours paired with a matching buttercream. Please keep an eye on our social media and shop page for information on when the next cake tasting will be available.
